Who is True Spirit Ministries?

We are a bible-based church located at 1114 Payne Avenue in St. Paul. We’re a real place where you can worship God no matter where you’re from or who you are. We are non-Denominational with affiliations across denominational lines.

 

True Spirit Ministries members love God. We’re committed to studying his word. If you’re new to Christianity or just want to see what we’re about, we welcome you to visit us on Sunday morning. We will help you feel welcome and be a place of peace and safety for you and your family. We also meet on Mondays at 6 PM for Prayer and Wednesdays at 6 PM for Bible Study. We promise that you will feel right at home here as we Worship God In Spirit and In Truth. When you visit us for worship, you will be met with open arms and a friendly welcome from our members. What is a non-denominational church?

 

A non-denominational church is a church that distances itself from confessionalism and does not formally align with a specific type of Protestantism. Non-denominational churches started to appear across the United States in the 20th century. Non-denominational churches have their original origin in interdenominational missionary organizations in the United States and England beginning in the mid-1860s. Non-denominational churches are one of the fastest-growing churches in the US, third to only to the Catholic church and the southern baptist congregations in the United States. We here at True Spirit Ministries have an affiliation with a Baptist Conference.

What is a bible-based church?

A bible-based church is a particular kind of church that places emphasis on the Bible. Bible-based churches often focus on scripture to deliver the message from God.  Most bible-based churches believe that the bible is the literal word of god and will often preach from the bible line to line from the holy scripture. We here at True Spirit Ministries are a bible-based church. We believe that the Bible is the holy word of God. "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness". (Timothy 3:16 ) "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12) 

 

What are the rules during the service?

We aim to provide a pleasant atmosphere when we get together for worship. When you arrive please allow the ushers to seat you. Please turn off or silence your cell phone and refrain from walking and talking during the service. Please stand for the reading of scripture. We thank you for your cooperation and look forward to worshipping with you.

What can you expect from your first visit to our church?

From the first moment you walk through our doors, you can expect a warm and welcoming crowd. You will be met with open arms and immediately feel like you are a part of the church. We welcome everyone to stop on by any time and we promise that you will feel welcomed as we all share in the celebration of God. We are an international church open to anybody who is interested in celebrating the word of God together with a friendly, warm group of bible believers. No matter where you are from or your background you will have a place with us at True Spirit Ministries. You are free to worship God no matter where you are from.
